At Work GuideWMEAC can guide you to green practices in your workplace. WMEAC’s West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum created two publications to help you use sustainable methods of doing business. The first is the Environmental Sustainability Purchasing Handbook (click to download in PDF format). This handbook explains methods a business can use to purchase supplies and materials in ways that are best for the environment, use less energy, and reduce the ecological footprint of the business. The second is the The Concise Self-Assessment Guide to Environmentally Sustainable Commerce (click to download in PDF format). The guide is a self-assement tool to help a business increase product and service efficiency, reduce energy demands, and reduce environmental impact. It helps identify and prioritize opportunities for sustainable development that exist in each stage of a product lifecycle. Visit WMEAC’s West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum for more information about sustainable business in West Michigan. |
