West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum
The West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum was founded in 1994 under the auspices of WMEAC. The forum is a non-profit organization of area companies united in their commitment to the principle of environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable commerce, a concept known today as the “Triple Bottom Line”. The mission of the forum is to promote business practices that demonstrate environmental stewardship, economic vitality and social responsibility. Membership represents a broad cross-section of large area industries and small businesses.WMSBF shares their knowledge base through monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, periodic seminars and conferences, and special projects. WMSBF believes that a balance must be struck between economic prosperity, social equity and a healthy environment. Further, we believe that the business community can and should take the lead in finding and preserving this balance. |
